Scuba Diving at Vortex

Dive one of Florida’s largest and safest diving resorts. Training, rentals, and daily passes available.

The Basin

Fifty feet down, shimmering air pockets, and a white-sand floor

The spring basin is 50 feet deep at the mouth of the cavern. Surface-lit during the day and inhabited by Koi, Gar, Catfish, American Eels, Redhorse Suckers, Blue Gill, and Bass — these will be your constant companions, tame enough to eat right out of your hand.

The cavern continues another hundred yards to a depth of 115 feet at the cave system security gate. An underwater photographer’s dream.

Day Pass
